CRAA National Championship Challenger 7s

Stanford met San Jose State University and McKendree University in Pool C in the Challenger 7s division.Â
The Cardinal defeated San Jose State 40-7 to start off the day and finished with an emphatic win over McKendree 59-0. The tournament is comprised of 3 pools of 3 teams each and where points differentials would decide the four teams to move onto the semi finals on day 2. The other pools included Cal Poly, Cal, Western Washington, and Grand Canyon University who would all compete for the remaining 3 spots.Â
The 2-0 finish in pool play secured a semi-final appearance for the Cardinal who will face Grand Canyon University after GCU beat out WWU in points to advance. Cal will face Cal Poly in the other semi-final.Â
