In their opening match of the CRAA 7s National Championships, Stanford showcased an outstanding performance against Oregon State, dominating the scoreboard with a decisive 38-0 victory.
The Cardinal started strong, with Jara Emtage-Cave finding the try zone early, followed by a conversion from Cara Feit. Feit continued to shine, scoring a try of her own before assisting Journey Washingtonhigh to touch down, with another successful conversion. Emtage-Cave scored her second try shortly after, again converted by Feit. Vivian Studdert capped off a dominant first half, bringing the score to 33-0 in favor of Stanford.
In the second half, Josie Davidson added to the tally with a try converted once more by Feit. With a strong defensive effort and fluid offensive plays, Stanford not only marked their presence in the tournament but sent a tone of intent for the weekend.
