Club Sport Executive Council

The Club Sport Executive Council (Exec Council)  is a voluntary student organization. It governs all the club sports student organizations. The Exec Council serves as a source of community and education for the active teams within the Club Sport Program. The Exec Council is composed of the following positions:

  • President – Strategize operational improvements and direction of the Exec Council and Club Sports Program. Manage relationships between the Executive Council and club teams. Handle day-to-day operations of the Exec Council. Be available to team representatives to work through challenges and discover opportunities to support the progress of teams. 
  • Vice President – Assist the President and FO in financial and operational decision-making. Coordinate volunteer and fundraising opportunities for the member teams. Schedule recurring meetings and take minutes/notes during Exec Council and program meetings. 
  • Financial Officer – Primary responsibility is helping clubs with budget allocations. Assist with team transfer requests. Respond to club team financial questions and concerns. 
  • Engagement Officer – Primary responsibility to assist with the development of the club sport website, program-specific social media presence, promote and plan social events for the Club Sports Program, collect team and participant/staff featured content, and support cross-team engagement.
