Max Rosenthal has been the Head Coach for Stanford Ice Hockey since 2025. Prior to becoming head coach, he was an Assistant Coach for Cardinal for the 2024-25 season.
Rosenthal has been coaching hockey across the U.S. for over ten years. He specializes in goaltending development and has worked with NHL/PWHL and Olympic goaltenders. He also has served on the coaching staff of the AA/AAA San Jose Junior Sharks since 2020.
Rosenthal continues to play as a practice goalie and Emergency Back-Up Goalie for the San Jose Sharks. He played for the University of Pittsburgh where he received a Master of Social Work in 2019.
