Stanford Club Ice Hockey is a competitive club team that offers an inclusive space for hockey players to get on ice, sharpen their skills, and play against other universities around the west coast. Our season generally takes place from the beginning of Fall quarter to the end of Winter quarter. We play in the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) as a Division II team. The team receives some funding from the university as a club sport but is primarily supported and administered by the players.Â

In 1917, It played its first game against Cal at Tait’s Winter Garden in San Francisco. Modern Stanford ice hockey can trace its roots to the inaugural Icemen team of 1968, which evolved into a championship team which played in ACHA nationals as recently as 1994.Â
