Welcome to Stanford Women's Club Lacrosse! We're happy you're here and are excited to tell you a little more about our wonderful team. We are part of the Women's Western Lacrosse League. Our predominant season is in Winter, where we play amazing collegiate lacrosse games around the Bay Area as well as a tournament in Santa Barbara we travel to. In fall quarter, we have try-outs and preseason 'fall ball' practice. In winter quarter, we practice twice weekly and have games each weekend. The championship tournament is the second week of spring quarter so depending on the season we may travel then too.
Want to join? Great! We have official try-outs in the fall but also continue open practice try-outs throughout our whole season. We take all levels and experiences, our team ranging from prior Varsity athletes to people who picked up a stick for the first time. We encourage everyone to come out and practice with us!
Along with practices and games, we also have fun bonding events. From team dinners to beach days, we prioritize making the team a wonderful place for each player here at Stanford. We are so much more than just a team - we're a community. We have roll outs for all the new players in the fall that are always a big hit and a great welcome to the amazing community that is Stanford Women's Club Lacrosse. And we always have a senior night on our last game to celebrate our seniors' amazing club lacrosse careers and send them off with a proper goodbye.
