Stacey Kofman was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay area and was a multi-sport athlete growing up, that influenced her career choice of athletic training. She started as an athletic training student at Menlo-Atherton High School, continued her education at The University of the Pacific in Stockton, California where she studied Physical Education and minored in Sports Medicine. After graduation, Dr. Kofman went to work in the private sector working in physical therapy clinics along with outreach programs at high schools. Dr. Kofman earned her Master’s in Exercise Science: from California University, California, Pennsylvania. Dr. Kofman earned her terminal degree from A.T.S.U., Mesa, Arizona in 2020. She has been involved in teaching at Palo Alto High School, since 2000, and being a part of high school interscholastic sports since 1993 She has sub-specialty is swimming and diving rehabilitation and is a part of the Central Coast Section, Wrestling Weight Management Assessors group, for weight certification of high school wrestlers.
