Quidditch is a fast-paced, co-ed, contact sport adapted from the game described in Harry Potter. We go to tournaments in the fall and winter, with Regionals and Nationals in the spring. We have seven players on the pitch, all of whom must keep a broom between their legs at all times. Points are scored by throwing the quaffle (volleyball) through the hoops, while bludgers (dodge-balls) are used to knock out players. The game ends when the snitch is caught.
