On May 4th, 2024 the Stanford Taekwondo Club competed at the 2024 PacWest Collegiate Taekwondo League Finals hosted at UCLA. This invitational tournament gathered top athletes from the Northern and Southern Regional PacWest Tournaments, which took place during February, to compete in kyorugi (sparring) and poomsae (forms). Stanford Taekwondo found a lot of success at this year's competition in both the color and black belt divisions, with 100% of our athletes medaling.

Paw Mar Gay placed 1st in Women's Green Belt Individual Poomsae

Silva Stewart placed 1st in Women's White/Yellow Belt Poomsae 

Elliott Rodgers placed 1st in Men's White/Yellow Belt Poomsae

Our athletes have trained all year to succeed at a regional and national level. We are immensely proud of all our athletes, and we look forward to seeing their growth in the future! Thank you to all of the friends and family who came to the event to cheer for our team, and thank you to those who have supported Stanford Taekwondo throughout the year. On Saturday May 25th, 2024 we will be hosting the Stanford Spring Open Tournament at the AOERC Basketball Courts, where athletes ages 6+ will have the opportunity to compete in both kyorugi and poomsae.
